The magnificent yacht has gone to a way

The new magnificent yacht from Norman Foster, Panthalassa has gone to the first travel from Italian port Viaredzhio. The yacht has added the list of vehicles of a class lux which the hand of the master has touched.

The first yacht from Norman Foster, Ocean Emerald, has been created for the owner of brand Playboy. Panthalassa it was created for more sedate owner.

Sea part of design has executed Ron Holland, over the case and structure Lord Foster has worked.

The yacht consists of three floors and a main deck. The main salon, a guest room and premises for a command are located below. On a deck various platforms for rest, and also food intake are organised. Certainly, the dining room is and below, more comfortable and formal.

At building natural materials were used: a teak, a skin, a granite, silk, gold and black marble.

Small island Nurai (the area of 130,000 sq.m.) is obliged by the name to the Arabian word nur, that "light" means, and completely justifies the name.

The architectural award for a modern twist

Tom’s Bar, fine addition to Augustine Hotel in Prague has received the award “European Hotel Design Award” in a category “Best Café, Bar, Nightclub or Lounge”. Work has been noted as a successful example of introduction of modern vision in historical atmosphere of a building.

The premise was used earlier as a beer hall and a dining room. On a ceiling fine frescos, and also magnificent metal chandeliers have remained. All it has been restored by masters, with use of traditional technologies, paints and a colour palette.

White interior

Wishes of the customer of the given interior were accurate and simple. The apartment should be similar to apartment of the architect — spacious, filled with light and white.

The apartment is on the top floor of the residential building located in the east of the city of Graz. The house is very successfully located, subcentral, comfortable — with access to balconies and private court yard, with a fine lay-out of apartments.

Having dismantled the majority of walls, architects have transformed standard four-room apartment into a spacious penthouse. There, where division of zones was necessary, glass walls are used.

Architectural minimalism

In apartment there is all necessary; a toilet for visitors, a boiler and the washing machine — all it behind mirror partitions. Architects used the limited number of materials; glass, white furniture, textiles and special gravel for a floor covering.

New interior of shop Stella McCartney

In an interior of Milan shop Stella McCartney there were sculptural metal hangers and floors in a multi-coloured fur-tree. All is work of London studio APA.

The clothes are shown on sculptural hangers from a steel with a dusting. On the ground floor conduct steps with a black handrail. In an interior original frescos on a ceiling are kept.

Multicultural shopping centre in Toronto

Remington Centre will put to a city of 74,000 sq. m. commercial and floor spaces and becomes the largest multicultural shopping centre in the North America. New complex will construct in northern area Toronto, here will take places more than 360 shops.

Design yacht

Charter company YachtPlus has started in boundless ocean the first super-yacht “The Ocean Emerald” over which design has worked Norman Foster. Thus, the known architect has captured practically all elements; creations of the well-known architect have mastered: the earth, air (plane Falcon 7X for company NetJets) and water.

The main feature of this magnificent yacht — space and light. Length of model — 41 metre, 5 apartments where can comfortably take places to 12 visitors here are equipped, it is supposed seven places for attendants and a command.

The Ocean Emerald by Foster + Partners

Ocean Emerald becomes the first of four yachts over which design experts from Foster + Partners will work. Series manufacture is planned next two years. The second yacht, Ocean Pearl will be floated by autumn of 2009 year, the third — Ocean Sapphire — in the beginning of 2010 and Ocean Emerald for Playboy. The name for the fourth yacht which manufacture is planned on second half 2010, for the present is not thought up.
