Novelty in an infrastructure of Brisbane — CLEM7; opening in a city of the road tunnel has drawn the big attention of the public.

An especial remarkable detail — awning structure of the unusual form. The project of bureau AECOM is conceived both as sight, and as functional object.

The awning structure uses an image of the subtropical plants hiding under the shade from solar heat; metal jalousie filter a sunlight that is favorable for drivers. At night the awning is highlighted. The largest awning is made of 2,000 unique pieces and 230 tons weigh.

The project CLEM7 is included into a general plan of development of a city.
